This is Moderno Furniture Online presence, we apologise for any inconvenience caused due to not being able to buy online. As a family run company we believe that online business will destroy any small independent store’s around the world, and we stand our ground to giving a face to face personal service to our customers along with having a show room to wow you, not an image online that can be cold and off putting. Selling Online as a small company can be harsh on business, we do not have large mark up on our products, to cover problems of postage & damages, as we do not believe this is fair on the customer walking through our door and taking away the day they buy

Delivery Policy

Where possible we will deliver goods within the times stated at time of sale, but goods are subject to availability and delays can sometimes happen and are outside of our control. As such any dates we specify for the delivery of goods are approximate and we can accept no responsibility for consequential cost, damages, loss, charges, or expenses caused by any delays in delivery of goods.
It is also the customers responsibility to ensure that goods ordered are not physically too large to fit the usual access to the property which the goods are to be delivered to, or into the location for which they where intended. Many larger items ie; beds, tables, wardrobes, may need assembling by the customer. Please ask our sales team at time of sale who will be able to advise on this.
Please inspect all items upon receipt in the presence of the delivery driver before signing to say that the goods were delivered in good order. If they are not clearly mark any faults on the delivery note and contact the store immediately. We fully expect all goods to arrive in good order but ask the customer to take this extra precaution in the case of any claims made for damages. If either yourself or any representative signs for goods unchecked, we ask, that you contact ourselves within seven days of the delivery, either, in writing or, by e-mail and these items will then have to be returned to us at your expense.
We will also not be held responsible should the purchaser dispose of their existing furniture prior to their delivery of new items.


All furniture supplied by Moderno Furniture and our suppliers is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months from receipt of goods by yourself or your representative. It will be rectified or replaced at the discretion of Moderno Furniture provided the goods are in normal household use and provided that the defect is notified to Moderno Furniture, by writing, e-mail or telephone as soon as the defect becomes apparent. Upon notification you will be advised on the course of action which will be taken. We reserve the right to inspect any item in situ before agreeing to a refund or replacement. If you placed your order via our website, the goods are subject to the Distance Selling Regulations Act 2000, which gives you the right to cancel your order before delivery and obtain a refund of the value of the goods purchased, subject to the conditions given below. This right also extends for a seven day ‘’cooling off ‘’period after the date of the delivery. Please note that this right of cancellation or return does NOT apply to items made to your particular specification in regard to non-standard sizes, finishes, or colours. We must be notified no later than seven days after delivery. You are then entitled to a refund as explained in the next section





If you cancel your order by writing or e-mail before your order is despatched to you, then you are entitled to a full refund. Refunds will only be given if a product is faulty and we cannot supply an exchange, or we cannot supply your goods within a reasonable timescale in relation to what had been quoted. If you cancel your order after you have received it and we have received your notification in writing or by e-mail no later than seven days after delivery, then you will be entitled to a refund of your order value less the original delivery charge to you, if any, and less our standard collection charge (for mainland UK addresses) of £50. You have an obligation to take reasonable care of goods you intend to return and not use them while awaiting their collection. Goods being returned should be re-packed to the same standard of protection as when they were delivered. Once the goods have arrived back with us, and they have been checked that they are in the same condition as when originally dispatched, we will post a refund by cheque to the original purchaser. You will receive no later than 30 days after our receipt of your notification to return.


All dimensions are approximate, if size is critical please contact us and we will endeavour to give you more precise information.  Wood shades and fabric do vary from one product run to another. Whilst every effort is made to ensure consistency this cannot always be guaranteed. Any changes to products or major variations may be covered by your statutory rights but otherwise variations in wood shades, grains and fabrics do not constitute a breach of Moderno Furniture’s obligation under this agreement. Also please bear in mind that web reproductions may differ significantly in shade or colour from the actual item.

ModernoFurniture do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected them, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select this option.
Since the business was formed we pride ourselves on our dedication and commitment to supply quality products at superb prices and to your total satisfaction. We have a superb reputation for efficiency of service, product knowledge and quality, proudly helping to make us the strong business we are today. Prices are in GBP and are inclusive of VAT. We reserve the right to amend prices at anytime.

Nothing in these terms and conditions affect your statutory rights

As we are a family run business, we are only able to do pick up from store & cash/card payments in store. Sorry for the delay on building our website, we hope this does not put you off shopping with us.
